Kilimanjaro is an Amazing Experience
Discover the allure of climbing Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa and one of the celebrated Seven Summits. Kilimanjaro’s distinctiveness as the tallest freestanding mountain on Earth, standing in solitary grandeur amidst the vast Serengeti plains, sets it apart. Even the band Toto (and Weezer) commemorates this uniqueness in their iconic song “Africa.”
Climbing Kilimanjaro promises an accessible and captivating adventure. Kilimanjaro has well-marked hiking trails that require no specialized mountaineering skills or ropes. It’s the ideal choice for both seasoned climbers and adventurous newcomers. Kilimanjaro invites you to experience a remarkable ascent filled with unforgettable moments.
We Focus on Safety
Each year, over 35,000 adventurers set their sights on climbing Kilimanjaro. However, many fall short of reaching the summit. The critical factor that can make or break your ascent lies in selecting a trusted operator. While cost considerations often influence decisions, prioritizing budget operators can be a risky choice. Kilimanjaro may be a walkable mountain, but adequate preparation is paramount, making it unsafe to base your operator choice solely on price.
Choose Kilimanjaro Sunrise, and you’ll have a team of experienced, friendly, and dedicated guides and porters by your side. Our team members have climbed Kilimanjaro for years, many over 300 times. Recommended Kilimanjaro Routes
Whether it is your first time trekking or you’ve climbed many peaks, we offer several routes to Uhuru Peak. Selecting the appropriate route for you will maximize your enjoyment and chance of success. We will be with you every step of the way.
There are six main routes on Kilimanjaro. However, we only offer the Lemosho, Northern Circuit, Machame, and Rongai routes as group climbs. We believe these are the best routes on Mount Kilimanjaro.
Additionally, we recommend that you choose longer routes, ones that are on the mountain for eight or nine days, since they will give you the highest chance of successfully summiting.
We also offer private climbs on all the major routes on the mountain. No one else will be added to your private climb.
