2 DAY SAFARI –  TARANGIRE & NGORONGORO CRATER

Ngorongoro Crater

W e offer a 2-Day Safari that goes to the action-packed Tarangire National Park which is known for its large herds of elephants. If you are lucky, you may also spot the elusive tree-climbing lions. On day two you’ll visit the stunning Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area. It is an 11-mile across, 2,000 foot deep extinct volcanic crater that is home to all the same animals as the Serengeti. You’ll spend the day being entertained by the mating ostrich, stalking hippos, and lazy lions.

Day 1

Elephant

Our safari driver will pick you up from your lodge around 7 AM. You’ll arrive at the park in just a few short hours. Along the way, you can stop for souvenirs and snacks. Tarangire National Park is the sixth-largest national park in Tanzania. Tarangire is best visited from June to December since the animals migrate here for water.  You’ll continue the game drive until 5 PM when the park closes. From the park, we will drive you to your tented camp in time for dinner.

Day 2

Rhino

You’ll be picked up around 7 AM. We will drive you to the Ngorongoro Crater as early as possible to see the animals in the early morning when they are the most active. A good amount of time to stay there is about six hours. Since the Crater is only 11 miles across and you’ll get plenty of viewing time in that amount of time. With prior arrangement, our driver can take you directly to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or we can book you an extra night’s lodging.

*Clients can make flights departing after 8:00 PM on the same day out of Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)
