Strategically positioned in northeastern Tanzania, Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) serves as the gateway for over 500,000 visitors each year. Located just 40 minutes from the towns of Moshi and Arusha, its proximity to Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, as well as popular safari destinations like the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, make it a hub for adventure travelers.
International Flights
Direct international flights land daily from Europe and the Middle East, with KLM, Ethiopian Airlines, Qatar Airways, and Kenya Airways offering connections through Amsterdam, Addis Ababa, Doha, and Nairobi.
Domestic carriers like Precision Air and Coastal Aviation provide short flights between JRO and other Tanzanian cities like Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar.
Currently, there are no direct flights to JRO from the US or Canada.
