Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro has always been a dream of mine, and I can honestly say that choosing Kilimanjaro Sunrise was the best decision I made in turning that dream into a reality. From start to finish, the entire experience was exceptional.
Our guides, Godfrey and Jackson, were nothing short of incredible. Their professionalism, knowledge of the mountain, and warm, supportive demeanor made all the difference. They struck the perfect balance between keeping us safe, educating us about the mountain and the local culture, and creating an atmosphere that was fun and motivating. Every single day they monitored our health, encouraged us when the trail got tough, and kept our spirits high.
The support staff—including the porters, cooks, and camp crew—were absolute heroes. I was constantly amazed at how well-fed we were (shout out to our cook, Emmanuel, for serving up delicious hot meals at over 13,000 feet!) and how smoothly everything was organized behind the scenes.
What really stood out to me was how Kilimanjaro Sunrise goes above and beyond. Their attention to detail, from the quality gear and comfortable tents to the thoughtful pace of the itinerary, gave us the best chance at summit success—and yes, we made it to Uhuru Peak! Watching the sunrise from the summit is something I will never forget, and I owe so much of that success to the incredible Kilimanjaro Sunrise team.
